Having triumphed at the Met in some of the leading soprano roles, Sondra Radvanovsky returns as the the mythical sorceress who'll stop at nothing in her quest for revenge.
Joining Radvanovsky in the Met's rarely performed premiere production of Cherubini are tenor, Matthew Polenzani as Medea's Argonaut husband, Giasone; soprano, Janai Brugger as the rival for her love, Glauce; Michele Pertusi as her father, Creon, the king of Corinth; and mezzo-soprano Ekaterina Gubanova as Medea's confidante, Neris.
