Choreographing memory by María Cerdá Acebrón Exhibition is part of the commemoration of the 85th anniversary of Spanish Republican exile in Mexico.
The exhibition focuses on the rewriting of history through the crossings between oral memory, affective networks and everyday and domestic environments, based on the memories and personal experiences of Neus Espresate Xirau, who arrived in Mexico in exile in 1943.
Her memories are traversed by the historical events she lived through, the people with whom she connected, and the solidarity networks she built during a period marked by persecution and political exile in Latin America.
