María García has participated in dozens of exhibitions and her images have been published in magazines like Revista de América, Mañana, Siempre!, Vogue and Kena.
The student movement of 1968, university life, and Mexican women are just some of the subjects she dealt with in her photographic work.
In 1975, she released a series of visual experiments entitled Marigrafías. On this occasion, a series of female nudes is presented at MAF for the first time.
