On the tenth anniversary, the Mextrópoli 2023 Architecture and City Festival arrives at the Colegio de San Ildefonso with 4 exhibitions:
Walls of Air: 17 projects from Brazil that share the impulse to investigate new ways of addressing the limits, divisions, and ruptures of urban fabrics with the idea of transforming the conditions of exclusion.
Caminos del Agua (Water Ways): canvases made from hand drawings of the hydrographic basins of the continental geography, and looking at Ecuador, Argentina, and Mexico.
UTOPIAS Iztapalapa: recovery of public spaces with diverse architectural visions planned for social, cultural, and sports uses. A social justice project to strengthen Rights to the City, designed in dialogue with their communities.
Architectural Furniture: using solid wood in a collection made by several architects; the design and assembly processes of each piece were carried out by the Joselo Maderista team, creating a single constructive language.
